Why do I teach music?
I like to teach music because it gives me frequent opportunities to express kindness to others, build community and teach foundational music skills. The elements come together when students learn that while the part that they play differs from the person who sits next to them, both parts are equally important in creating beautiful music. When I watch students at final concerts, I am grateful for the opportunity to show their parents their hard work and grateful for the life-long friends who are sitting beside them. Finally, I teach music because it gives me happiness. Reyna has a passion for music education and the arts.
